Winter Goals

Happy winter, happy snow, happy new season of goals! I really do love this season — Christmas is my favorite holiday; I love snow; I love that the weather practically requires me to wear sweaters. It should be a good few months ahead.

  • Enjoy two family trips to Ottawa — including Christmas!

  • Skate on the Rideau Canal during one of the trips to Ottawa

  • Use the new year to reflect on 2018 and establish goals and healthy habits for 2019

  • Help plan and fully enjoy a family vacation skiing in Whistler, British Columbia

  • Read 30 minutes per day for at least 30 days straight

  • Read at least three of the many books that I have bought the physical copy of then put on my shelf and failed to read

  • Ride my bike at least three times (there will be random 65-degree winter days! Take advantage!)

  • Watch all of the Best Picture nominees before the Oscars

  • Make appointments with and go see various doctors (primary care, gyn, dentist, potentially ortho)

  • Buy a photo album and order pictures for my 2018 album

  • Begin (and stick with!) the BBG 1.0 fitness program

  • Order 2-4 pieces of art to (finally) fill the frames by my bed

  • Dry January
